FutDraft is played by building a team by answering football clues — not by memorizing exact stats. Here's the full mechanic, step by step.
Each round poses a clue like "Won the Ballon d'Or," "Played for Barcelona," or "World Champion." For the position assigned that round, you have to pick a real player who fits that condition. You don't need to know the exact rating by heart — you need to recognize which player fits.
Position by position, the real rating of the player you picked is compared against your opponent's pick (the AI in Daily Challenges, a real player in Head to Head). The match is won by whoever comes out on top in more head-to-head duels — not the team with the highest average rating, but the one that won more positions one by one.
Play against the AI across 3 difficulty levels (easy, medium, hard). A new challenge every day, with XP and FutCoins as a reward.
Play in real time against another player: through matchmaking (the system pairs you up) or in a private room with a code, to challenge a friend directly.
Pick a national team and play your own full World Cup: group stage, knockout rounds, and the final — all decided on penalties.
Every match won in Head to Head earns trophies toward your spot on the global ranking. There's also a weekly league system — six tiers, from Sandlot to Legend — where you get promoted, hold your ground, or get relegated depending on how many trophies you earn that week. Every season starts fresh on Monday.
